COMMUNITY TRAININGS

The Child Abuse Prevention Center offers various trainings to childcare providers upon request. Topics include Shaken Baby Syndrome, SIDS, and General Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness. The CAP Center strives to provide in-depth and affordable training for local childcare providers. Trainings can be tailored to your group's specific needs.

The CAP Center offers trainings to the community free of charge and by request.  Many groups request that a CAP staff member speak to their organization about child abuse prevention. The CAP Center is also contracted with Dallas Independent School District to teach child abuse prevention classes to high school students. Other trainings include clubs, organizations, churches, and concerned citizens.
